The ships are sister vessels and arrived in Constanta Shipyard at end July (Ionic Anasa) and begining of November (Ionic Althea), the main works being scrubber installation, including: Soft steel: 3.8 t Structural steel: 56.4 t (scrubber casing); Exhaust line rolled pipe 1.95 tons (Dia 1700 mm and Dia 1350 mm) and seamless pipe up to 21 rm ; GRE pipe - 129 rm
for main repair works being mentioned below:
- Normal docking works: anodes renewal, valves o/h, anchor chains ranging/cleaning, tail shaft wear down measuring, rudder clearances measuring; propeller remove/refit
- External hull treatment: grit blasting SA1/SA2 up to 1,850sqm
- Pipe works: up to 50 rm in total;
- Steel works:
o Structural steel: 30t Soft steel: 1 t;
o Panama chocks modifications with underdeck reinforcement 7 tons;
- Mechanical and electrical works:
o Main Engine: piston o/h (3 nos), bearings inspection, fuel injection pumps; turbocharger, air cooler;
o Diesel Generator: alternator (3 nos), turbochargers o/h (3 nos);
o Lifting appliance testing
