The ships are sister vessels and arrived in Constanta Shipyard at mid March (Zaruma) and end May (Pichincha), the main repair works being mentioned below:
Water Balast Sistem installation
Normal docking works: valves overhauling (57 pcs up to dia 500 mm), tailshaft withdrawal, propeller removal & polishing, external hull treatment and painting: grit blasting SA1/SA2 up to 10 350 sqm, 2 T/U & 2 F/C of paint application;
