Successful completion of the sea trials for Hull No. 591
The ship with Hull No. 591, the third ship of the new generation ECOMAXMR1 oil and chemical type IMO 2 product tanker, developed and built by Constanta Shipyard, successfully carried out the sea trials between 11 and 13 February.
The ship, which has a capacity of 40,000 TDW, will be delivered to the company SOCATRA S.A., France, by the end of February.
The project ECOMAXMR1 enjoyed a real success in the specialized press, the ship being nominated as follows:
- Tanker Ship of the Year Award 2019 by the magazine “Tanker Shipping & Trade”
- was listed in the “Significant Ships of 2019” catalogue by The Royal Institute of Naval Architects of United Kingdom.
