Following the conclusion of Posidonia 2024 at the Athens Metropolitan Expo, 3rd -7th of June 2024, the statistics are impressive: the event drew 32,527 attendees from 130 countries and territories, 2.038 exhibitors from 81 countries, marking a 12% increase from Posidonia 2022. Having broken all previous records in terms of exhibition space, number of exhibitors and visitors, Posidonia 2024 was also the place where the maritime world came together once again to finalize and confirm highly lucrative new business deals. Traditionally, SANTIERUL NAVAL CONSTANTA SA (CONSTANTA SHIPYARD) was attending the exhibition with its own booth, being ready with a large team, to welcome the clients, partners, suppliers and whoever was interested about our experience and successful projects both in newbuilding and ship-repairs & conversions activities. Our team of professionals were at Posidonia 2024 to discuss the big challenges, as well as all the exciting work, projects, that SANTIERUL NAVAL CONSTANTA SA (CONSTANTA SHIPYARD) is permanently developing. During the days of exhibition more than 70 face-to-face meetings with Clients representatives (from superintendents to Fleet / Technical managers and Ship-Owners), suppliers and ship repairs brokers took place. The spirit of POSIDONIA, was well described by Mrs. Melina Travlos, President, Union of Greek Shipowners: “Shipping connects people, economies and cultures. Posidonia embraces the same spirit. It effectively serves as a platform for the shipping industry and the wider maritime cluster to exchange views, provide business opportunities, showcase innovations, and generate solutions to current challenges.
