In line with the company’s motto, SANTIERUL NAVAL CONSTANTA SA (CONSTANTA SHIPYARD), in close partnership with “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” National Military College and its Alumni Association, organized on the 8th of November 2024, a visit within the Shipyard’s premises for more than 50 students from the college. What did they learn? - the basics of shipbuilding & ship-repairs activities; - the latest technologies implemented in the Shipyard’s specific activities; - the importance of safety principles in the workplace and environmental protection; - what career opportunities the Shipyard may offer; Although the Military College is mainly preparing future candidates for the Naval Academy in Constanta, we are confident that some of them may enjoy working on board merchant fleets and/or as specialists in shipbuilding & ship-repairs industry. On the other side, SANTIERUL NAVAL CONSTANTA SA continues to maintain its position as a main contractor for Romanian Naval Forces, being ready to contribute to the modernization/ retrofitting and maintenance of naval fleet.
